The words serene, gentle, and graceful come to mind when I think of Gwyneth Paltrow. Despite her collected appearance, the actress/singer/mother claims she needs more calm in her life (who doesn’t). On her trendy website “Goop“, where the tagline reads “nourish the inner aspect”, she made a New Years resolution to start meditating. Here’s what she had to say to her hundreds of thousands of followers:

This must have resonated with a good portion of her readers, because this newsletter created quite a buzz. Meditation seems to be the “it” thing for 2010. Specifically, Transcendental Meditation seems to be catching on. As someone who has been a TM practitioner since I was 4 years old, it is great to see such enthusiasm among the Hollywood elite.

Why am I telling you this? Well, Gwyneth asked David Lynch to write about his experience with TM. He invited people to personally contact him with questions. David has received a FLOOD of emails asking where and how they can learn. Like I said, 2010 seems to be the year that people are craving that inner peace and happiness.  See the full newsletter and what David said about his experience here.
